About Olearna
Exam Readiness, Made Clear
We help students, parents, and schools track exam readiness for BECE and WASSCE with clear labels and targeted practice - so effort goes where it matters most.
Our Mission
To give every Ghanaian student a clear, honest picture of their exam readiness - and the tools to improve it. We believe that when students, parents, and teachers can see exactly where a student stands, they can focus effort where it matters most and turn uncertainty into confidence.
Our Vision
A Ghana where no student walks into an exam room without knowing whether they are prepared. Where parents do not have to wait for report cards to know if their child needs help. Where teachers can see at a glance which students need intervention - and act before it is too late.
The Problem We Solve
Every year, hundreds of thousands of Ghanaian students sit for BECE and WASSCE. Many of them study hard - but without knowing whether their effort is actually moving them toward readiness. Parents want to help but lack visibility into their child's strengths and weaknesses. Teachers want to intervene early but cannot track every student individually.
The result? Students arrive at exam day uncertain. Parents are anxious. Teachers are overwhelmed. And too many capable students underperform - not because they did not work hard, but because their effort was not directed at the right areas.
Olearna solves this by giving every student a readiness label - On Track, Improving, or At Risk - for each subject, updated in real time as they practise. It is simple enough for a parent to understand and detailed enough for a teacher to act on.
Built for Ghana
Olearna is not a foreign platform adapted for Ghana - it is built from the ground up for the Ghanaian education system. Everything we do reflects the realities of studying in Ghana:
- GES-aligned curriculum: All content follows the Ghana Education Service syllabus for BECE and WASSCE.
- Mobile-first design: Most Ghanaian students access the internet via smartphones. Olearna is optimised for mobile devices and designed to use minimal data.
- Mobile money payments: We accept MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, and AirtelTigo Money - no bank card required.
- Affordable pricing: Our plans are priced for Ghanaian families, not Silicon Valley budgets.
- Local context: Our questions, examples, and content reflect Ghanaian life and culture - because students learn better when content feels familiar.
