BECE Mathematics: The Topics Worth Your Next Month
BECE Mathematics is wide, and a month is not. Students who "revise maths" often reread notes from the first topic they liked and avoid the one they fear. The grade moves when the feared topic starts to hold.
Choose from the real areas
Number work, algebra, geometry and mensuration, and statistics. If you do not know which one is costing you, take a check and let the misses tell you. Do not invent a private list of "WAEC favourites" from a pamphlet. Use the topics you still get wrong.
Theory needs the working
The objective paper still needs the idea. The theory paper needs the working on the page. If you can choose B and cannot show the steps, you have not finished the topic. Review both: the option you picked, and the line where the working stopped.
One month, one area
Week one: questions on that area only, then review. Week two: the same area, including a few you missed last week. Week three: a short mixed set, and note which questions from that area still fall. Week four: leave it if the review is clean, and take the next area.
The JHS path is on the JHS page. The exam is on BECE.
