Start-Level Check
Where do I stand across my subjects?
A start-level check samples more than one subject. It is the check to take when a student has several subjects and no clear order of work.
How Start-Level Check worksA result moves when the next hour is spent on the topic that is costing marks. Olearna’s diagnostics name that topic. Practice follows it. The readiness label updates. A past-question PDF and a class that teaches every student the same page do not do that job.
The free check needs no account. It covers one subject and returns On Track, Improving, or At Risk. The checks sit on the Ghana school system: the NaCCA syllabus in JHS, the WAEC syllabus in SHS, and the year the student is in. The five checks below are for an account, and which of them a plan includes is on the pricing page.

How Start-Level Check worksWhich topics are quietly holding this subject back?
Students lose marks on topics they thought they knew. A weakness finder looks for those topics, then checks again on the ones that looked weak.
How Weakness Finder worksWhat is wrong inside this one subject?
A subject deep check stays on one subject and covers more of its topics than the free diagnostic. Use it when Mathematics, English, Science, or a WASSCE elective is the subject that can move the result.
How Subject Deep Check worksDoes this topic hold, or does it only look familiar?
A topic can look finished in a notebook and still fail in a question. A topic mastery check stays on one topic and asks whether the work holds.
How Topic Mastery Check worksIs the mark lost in the topic, or in how the question is answered?
Some marks are lost before the topic is even hard. The question is misread, the time is spent on the first item, or a theory answer has the point but not the form the marking expects.
How Exam Skills Check worksThe same loop is for JHS 1 to 3, SHS 1 to 3, BECE, WASSCE, and a resit. Read it for JHS, SHS,BECE, and WASSCE. What you see after a miss is on the review page. The questions sit on the Ghana syllabus, which is NaCCA for JHS and the WAEC syllabus for SHS. Other ways of studying are on the comparison.
Name the topic holding the subject back, practise that topic, then check whether it holds. Revising the whole syllabus, or sitting extra classes at one pace for every subject, does not choose that topic. A diagnostic does, and the next practice follows it.
The free diagnostic, which needs no account and checks one subject. With an account, a start-level check is the wide view across subjects. A weakness finder or a subject deep check comes next, on the subject that is behind.
The public diagnostic is free and needs no account. The five account diagnostics follow the student’s plan. The pricing page is the list of what each plan includes.
No. They decide which past-style questions are worth the next hour. Practice still does the work. The readiness label updates as that practice changes. The label is not a WAEC grade.
