Exam Skills Check
Is the mark lost in the topic, or in how the question is answered?
Some marks are lost before the topic is even hard. The question is misread, the time is spent on the first item, or a theory answer has the point but not the form the marking expects.
An exam skills check looks at that layer. It is not another syllabus topic. It is how the student sits the paper.
Use it in the last weeks, or when a student knows the work in drills and still drops marks on a full paper.
What to do next
Pair it with a timed mock on the same subject. Fix the technique, then go back to any topic the mock still exposes.
The free diagnostic needs no account. Exam Skills Check is an account diagnostic. Plan access is on the pricing page. The readiness label you get is On Track, Improving, or At Risk. It is not a WAEC grade.
The other checks
- Start-Level Check: Where do I stand across my subjects?
- Weakness Finder: Which topics are quietly holding this subject back?
- Subject Deep Check: What is wrong inside this one subject?
- Topic Mastery Check: Does this topic hold, or does it only look familiar?
- All five diagnostics, and why this is the way a result moves.
Common questions
Does exam technique replace topic practice?
No. Technique does not fill a topic the student has not learned. Run the weakness finder or a subject deep check first if the subject itself is At Risk.
Who is an exam skills check for?
JHS 3 and SHS 3 candidates, and anyone writing a resit, who already has some of the content and needs the paper habits. Younger students can still take it, but topic checks come first.
