What to practise in WASSCE Economics this month

14 October 20266 min read

This page is for a WASSCE student in Ghana, and for the parent sitting nearby. It answers one job: what to practise this month in Economics. The next step is a free check of this subject, then an account if you want the result kept.

Economics answers need a definition and a Ghana example: a market, a tax, or a trade. A graph with no sentence, or a sentence with no graph when one was asked, both lose marks.

What should you open in Economics?

Stay inside these topics. They are the ones listed for WASSCE Economics on the subject page. A different book's chapter titles can wait.

  • Microeconomics. Microeconomics is one block of the paper. Macroeconomics is a different block. Do not revise them in the same half hour.
  • Macroeconomics. Macroeconomics is one block of the paper. International Trade is a different block. Do not revise them in the same half hour.
  • International Trade. International Trade is one block of the paper. Development Economics is a different block. Do not revise them in the same half hour.
  • Development Economics. Development Economics is one block of the paper. Microeconomics is a different block. Do not revise them in the same half hour.

What does a short week look like?

  • Evening 1: Microeconomics. Twenty to thirty minutes, then stop.
  • Evening 2: Macroeconomics. Twenty to thirty minutes, then stop.
  • Evening 3: International Trade. Twenty to thirty minutes, then stop.
  • Evening 4: Development Economics. Twenty to thirty minutes, then stop.

After one of those evenings, take the free Economics diagnostic. You will see On Track, Improving, or At Risk. That label is for you. It is not a WASSCE grade.

Where do you go next?

The subject page is Economics for WASSCE. If you want the class and the subjects saved, create a free account. You can read this page first. The account is one screen: name, email or phone, and a password.

Questions people ask

Who is this WASSCE Economics page for?

A student preparing WASSCE Economics in Ghana, and a parent or teacher who wants what to practise this month without buying another pamphlet.

Which topics does this page use?

Only the topics on the public Economics page: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Trade, Development Economics.

Do I need an account to check Economics?

No. The free diagnostic runs before signup. An account keeps the class and the subjects for the next visit.

Does this page replace the school lesson?

No. It tells you which part of Economics to practise next. The teacher still decides what the class has covered.
